Bob Wagner

Joseph Robert ("Bob") Wagner served for more than 40 years as Scoutmaster of Troop 176, Signal Mountain, Tennessee.  He was instrumental in the North Hamilton District, the Council Whitewater Committee, Wood Badge, local historical trails, Jamborees, and many other facets of Chattanooga Scouting.  


Bob began Scouting as a Cub Scout of Pack 3001.  He then became active in Troop 60 before transferring to assist with the formation of the St. Augustine Parish Troop 176 where he earned 57 merit badges, the Eagle Scout award with three silver plams, and the Ad Altare Dei religious award.  Bob was a faculty member of the first Wood Badge course in Chattanooga, led numerous expeditions to Philmont, Northern Tier, Sea Base, the Maine High Adventure Base, and many other locations.
